For Nadine’s bathroom, we used 80×80 porcelain tiles across both the walls and floors, creating a sleek, seamless finish. She selected a special-order tile as her feature, adding a unique focal point to the space.
We’re big fans of large format tiles — not only do they look clean and modern, but they also reduce the amount of grout, making maintenance much easier.
To improve ventilation, we repositioned the extractor fan above the shower to capture steam directly at the source. We also constructed a bulkhead along one side of the room, allowing for the installation of a wall-hung toilet and basin, giving the space a more open and contemporary feel.
